Main application:<\/p>\n

The proposed PE\/mineral filler composites with cellular structures will replace piezoelectric ceramic or more expensive PVDF plastic elements as biomedical or motion sensors. Such structures can also serve as transducers of mechanical motion into electrical energy and thus power personal pulse-testing devices, heart monitors or pedometers. <\/p>\n

Advantages of the invention:<\/p>\n

The newly developed compositions show similar properties as commonly used PVDF, however, they are less expensive, made from commonly available materials. Their production is inexpensive. The use of other modified polyolefins for such compositions also makes it possible to expand the range of products with similar properties. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The extruder that is the subject of the invention is designed for processing gas-filled porous plastic waste especially foam waste. The configuration of the plasticizing system makes it possible to conduct the extrusion process at a much more favorable mixing and plasticizing intensity. <\/p>\n

Advantages of the invention:<\/p>\n

The design of the extruder’s plasticizing system makes it possible to conduct the extrusion of waste foamed plastics with minimal polymer degradation, increased density of the processed material and reduced energy consumption compared to a conventional extruder.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Elastomeric composite for impact energy damping layers, especially in rope safety platforms used to protect shafts in underground mining.<\/p>\n

Advantages of the invention:<\/p>\n

An elastomeric material using recycled materials has been developed to make impact energy damping layers installed in a unique platform to protect mine shaft dredging operations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
