On December 22, 1993, accreditation was granted for the first time to the Product Certification Body (PCB) operating today in the \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Engineering of Polymer Materials and Dyes.<\/p>\n

PCB is located in the Paint and Plastics Center in Gliwice.<\/p>\n

Over the years, both the management and staff of PCB have changed, but above all, the scope of accreditation has changed, which has been adapted to the current expectations of our clients.<\/p>\n

We currently provide services:<\/p>\n

product conformity certification, which concerns:<\/p>\n

pipes, connectors, pipelines and their elements as well as external sewage systems made of plastic,<\/p>\n

flexible cables, including: garden and technical hoses made of plastic, <\/p>\n

child-resistant packaging,<\/p>\n

paints and varnishes, including painting technology, i.e. protection against corrosion of steel structures using protective, certified painting systems;<\/p>\n

certification for conformity marks: paints and varnishes with the ecological mark “E”, which is a legally registered conformity mark number 86669 by \u0141ukasiewicz – IMPiB;<\/p>\n

certification of constancy of performance of construction products (national system) – group 34, i.e. fire stopping, sealing and fire protection products, flame retardant products. <\/p>\n

One of the stages of the conformity assessment process is product testing, which the customer can perform in the Paint Products Research Laboratory and the Polymer Plastics Research Laboratory accredited by the Polish Center for Accreditation (accreditation no. AB 163), which are also located in the Paints and Plastics Center in Gliwice.<\/p>\n

The competences of the \u0141ukasiewicz – IMPiB Product Certification Body to conduct certification processes are confirmed annually by the Polish Center for Accreditation (accreditation number AC 004), and the Product Certification Body itself carries out compliance assessment as a third party, i.e. a party independent of the person or organization that supplies the product to market, as well as from the user interested in this product. JCW ensures the impartiality and reliability of the services provided and guarantees the confidentiality of the information obtained to clients. <\/p>\n
