COMPOSITE PROFILES AND PANELS – the result of the REC-WIND project

KIEDY?

GDZIE?

As part of the project “Building boards with the use of secondary raw materials” (acronym

REC-WIND) we have developed demonstration products that make it possible to 100% recycle wind farm waste and make wind energy even greener.

Products made of ABS (black) and PVC (grey) regranulate and filled with regrind from used wind farm blades. The regrind content can be in the range of 20-50% by mass depending on the type of product and the functional requirements of the final product.

Project co-financed from a targeted subsidy from the funds of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, contract number 1/Ł-IMPIB/CŁ/2023, implemented in the Łukasiewicz Research Network:

Łukasiewicz – Institute of Polymer Materials and Dyes Engineering in Toruń – project leader

Łukasiewicz – Warsaw Institute of Technology, Warsaw

Łukasiewicz – Institute of Heavy Organic Synthesis “Blachownia”, Kędzierzyn-Koźle
