The ceremonial inauguration of the project “Development and testing of innovative solutions for the processing of hybrid materials and nanomaterials using artificial intelligence algorithms” is behind us. The project is carried out as part of the Staff Exchanges competition, the Maria Skłodowska-Curie Actions, which are part of the European Union Horizon Europe Framework Program.

Łukasiewicz-IMPIB is the Leader and hosted the Kickoff Meeting. The meeting was attended by representatives of all partners and the Project Officer, Representative of the European Commission, Ms. Franceska Pierantozzi.

The main goal of the PROMATAI project is the exchange of scientists from the institutions participating in the project, the development of their professional careers, the strengthening of international and intersectoral cooperation between institutions of EU countries and the development of permanent cooperation between academic research centers and industrial organizations. The project will contribute to increasing the exchange of knowledge, learning best practices, exchange of know-how, innovations, experiences and work culture between various organizations (representatives of academic and industrial units) and various regions and countries in Europe (Poland, Slovakia, Greece, Lithuania, Bulgaria ). The main scientific goal of the project is to design, manufacture and test prototypes of innovative solutions Feed Opening Section (FOS), Adjusted Grooved Feed Section (AGFS) and Innovative Rotating Barrel Section (IRBS), which, together with the original screw, create an unconventional, self-adjusting extruder plasticizing system. to the size of the introduced granules. The research will use a specially produced bio(nano)composite material in the form of granules of variable length.
