achieved the intended goals, and the project results will be an important contribution to the development of the construction sector.
“Our project focused on examining the possibilities and methods of obtaining high-quality, ecological, water-based primers pigmented with zinc, but with a lower zinc content in the product. The goal of the project was achieved by selecting and modifying the composition of the polymer matrix, as well as by adding agents with exceptional stability and properties barrier, sacrificial and mechanically strengthening coatings. The project uses a water-soluble epoxy resin containing a reduced amount of modified pigments. zinc compared to traditional high-zinc anti-corrosion primers. Despite the lower zinc content in the coating, the developed primers are comparable to high-zinc primers in terms of protective (protective) properties, and at the same time meet the requirements of environmental protection regulations.
