Scientific TEAM Łukasiewicz – IMPIB is not slowing down. This time during the 2024 IEEE 14th International Conference. Nanomaterials: Applications & Properties in Riga, we promoted the results of the ongoing project entitled “High fire impedance plate” – Acronym MgO.
The MgO project is a joint work of scientists: Łukasiewicz – Institute of Engineering of Polymer Materials and Dyes; Łukasiewicz – WIT; Łukasiewicz – ICSO “Blachownia”; Łukasiewicz – Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials.
The aim of the project is to develop a magnesium board with high fire impedance, and with it, dedicated adhesive compositions enabling the application of such boards to protect reinforced concrete structures in conditions of exposure to fire.
Our scientists Ewa Langer and Bartosz Kopyciński also presented a poster titled “Formulation of 2K epoxy adhesives with addition of electrochemically exfoliated graphite for joining magnesium fire protection boards”
