Our scientist Daria Lisewska defended her doctoral thesis entitled “The influence of polymer extrusion conditions on the mechanical properties and gaseous products of thermal degradation” concerning the analysis of the influence of various conditions of processing processes using a co-rotating twin-screw extruder on the properties of polymer materials, their degradation and gaseous products emitted during this process.
Daria is a graduate of the Faculty of Chemistry at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. After graduating in 2017, she started working at our institute and at the same time started her doctoral studies. Currently, he works at the accredited “Polimer” Research Laboratory, where he participates in commercial research and R&D projects. He also deals with determining the biocidal and fungistatic activity of polymer materials and examining their biodegradation potential.
