Processing of polymer materials is the main sector in the area of polymer materials, to which the Institute provides support in different aspects.
We design our technologies and products for recycling and biodegradation, in order to minimize the consumption of such raw materials and the amount of waste, as well as to ensure their quicker degradation, including through creation of a “closed loop” of processes, in which waste from some processes is used as raw materials in other ones, reducing the waste amount, and also through application of “bio” ecological raw materials.
The Institute’s offer in this area is comprehensive – from development of technologies to research, pilot production, to construction and manufacture of technological lines (idea to implementation).
We provide services to a broad group of customers who value quality. Our offer is directed to companies which begin their operations and seek appropriate properties of polymer materials, or to ones which have problems managing production waste. We have the appropriate machinery allowing us to determine in which manner a given kind of waste is to be processed.
We offer services in the area of:
- · conducting of technological tests;
- · industrial research and development work on a semi-technical scale;
- · experimental production in the area of extrusion of polymer composites, flat plastic film, profiles, including pipes and hoses;
- · experimental production in the area of recycling of plastics.
We have the appropriate machinery necessary to conduct technological tests of the polymer composite extrusion process:
- · a BTSK 20/40D concurrent twin-screw extruder;
- · a line for production of 3-layer plastic film of the 3xW25 type;
- a PlastiCorder Brabender station for research works in the area of modification of polymer materials and production of research samples.

At the Experimental and Technological Laboratory of Elastomers in Piastow, we produce specialized rubber products with exceptional physical and chemical properties – both molded and extruded.
Offer includes : products for automotive, construction and others:
- rubber hoses with an internal diameter of max 30 mm,
- solid and porous rubber plates with a maximum size of 700×700 and a thickness of 40 mm,
- rubber and rubber-metal products with a maximum weight of 15 kg,
- metal shaft coverings
- shaft coverings made of flame-retardant rubber,
- rubber elements for masks and half-masks
- electric field control cones for high-voltage lines.
